Course Description


We will cover the basic algorithms forming the core of Artificial Intelligence, heuristic search, knowledge representation and inference, modeling, probabilistic reasoning, and planning. We will study these algorithms using pencil and paper assignments and small programming assignments using the Python programming language. We will also study the history of AI and some philosophical aspects of AI. In addition to the assignmentds, student learning will be measured by three tests. From time to time you may be asked to review papers on current AI topics.
